We are so delighted to present our very first guest blogger on our new blog the lovely Louise from Fitness Fashion Mom.  Louise is a regular around the centre and talks us through her top casual styles.

When I am in need of some girl time or even some me time, those that know me, know I love to shop! I was only too thrilled to be invited as guest blogger for the Douglas Court Shopping Centre Social Media page as it is one of my favourite places to go when I fancy a browse around. Everything is under one roof from dresses to jeans, shoes to accessories and underwear. You can keep it as casual or as dressy as you want and there are options for all tastes and all ages. I’ve lived in the area for 10 years now and I’ve loved seeing the centre evolve. My favourite shops are there and include New Look, Savida and Verso. When the email from Natasha came in, I jumped at the chance to head off with my camera and bestie (Emma a.k.a. Barbellbarbie_ie) for some outfit hunting.
First up we hit New Look for some casual pieces.  Coming into Autumn we don’t want to spend a fortune on a new wardrobe but rather add some pieces that will help us transition into the cooler weather. Bomber jackets are a continuing trend and they are all over Douglas Court in a variety of styles. I loved this longer line Bomber in Khaki as it is light enough for Autumn but can be layered with a polo and scarf to see you into winter.

They also had this black floral style which sees us moving away from the pastel trend of the summer but still pretty enough to pair with a skirt. I paired it with a classic black leather skirt and trainers.

Cold shouldered tops are another continuing trend and perfect for those of us who want to cover up yet give a glimpse of skin.

Sports Luxe is HUGE for the coming season with lots of black, white, red and greys. I loved this monochrome sporty dress that will take you anywhere. Dress it down with trainers and a leather jacket or layer up with tights and boots once Winter arrives. I loved these glittery heels for adding something a little bit different.

We had fun playing around with textures and layering. Faux leather jeans, mesh and soft hoodies are perfect for getting that laid back weekend look while showing your personal style. Don’t forget your Cap! Baseball hats are not just for bloggers. These bad hair day saviours are everywhere now and set to continue.

Finish off your Autumn wardrobe with the must have back pack. I loved these khaki and white offerings as they will match almost anything and fit all of your essentials.

I could have offered so many more looks as the variety on offer is incredible but alas this is a blog post and not a novel! All under one roof? Perfect! Keep an eye out for my next post on how to glam it up for that special event you have coming up.
